To date the trip has been full of "delightful stress". This means that everything has been inspirational, educational, and unique with a high dose of stress thrown in to make it a true adventure.
We've been forced to put in two 60 km days to land at campsites just before dark. The kids have been troopers without a single complaint. It's been really a challenge to hit the trail before noon which is making for late days. We're trying to work this out.
The girls are riding strong and Lana and I already know we will have to shed weight before the hills in the Gaspe area.
We are currently camped at Saint-Andre d'Argenteuil and will be passing through Parc National d'Oka today. Our goal is to be riding up to our friend's place in Montreal at the end of tomorrow's ride.
N.B. - if you have received this update you are one of ten names I was able to auto update. Please forward to anyone u might think has any interest in our adventure. Thx
