Day One: Blogs are Good

"Maybe" I waited until the last minute to create a blog for our trip.

This is a first brief blog from the back deck of my mother's place in Ottawa. I had good intentions of having a blog up more than four hour prior to departure but about a million details got in the way. Thanks to Brent for offering encouragement and the link to blogger.com. The site was up in minutes and I'm hopeful that it becomes our primary means of communication/sharing.
