Soggy Oka Tastes Ok-a

We've just arrived in Oka, black market cigarette capital of canada. The pictures of the dozens of roadside booths will tell the tail. However, the true story of the day is our brave kids. Again today we got a late start and had only made 12km before stopping for a lunch of p.b.j. and sugar pie. Leaving after lunch we knew we were in for rain but never expected the all out storm we had to endure. The light rain had us suit up, but even our jackets were no match for the deluge of rain, hail, thunder and lightning that hit us. Cars stopped alongside the road either to protect us or because they could not see where they were driving. When the pellting hail finally stopped the wonder women calmly mounted their bikes and rode another 25km in the rain. I'm not sure if Levi even noticed anything was happening as he was either playing the ds or napping.
The girls are in buying hot chocolate, croissants and volumes of hamburger helper to warm our August chill.
